Why Horses?
The Power of Connection
At Whistlejacket Farm, we believe that connecting with horses is more than a hobby—it’s a powerful, healing experience. Horses have hearts significantly larger than humans’, and science shows they generate an electromagnetic field up to five times stronger than our own. This field can positively influence human emotions, reduce anxiety, and promote overall well-being. It’s one of the reasons horses are widely used in equine therapy—to help people feel more grounded, calm, and emotionally in tune.
More Than Riding
Building Life Skills Through Every Experience
Every activity at Whistlejacket Farm is designed to teach more than just horsemanship. Whether you’re grooming your first horse or refining your riding technique, you’ll develop essential life skills like confidence, patience, communication, and resilience. No matter what your starting point, we welcome all riders and interests—from beginners to advanced equestrians.
A Place to Belong
